Star Scout Uniform

Star Scout

FORMAL DRESS UNIFORM
Worn at Scouting activities special ceremonies, church services and other events by GSP representative.

Dress one-piece of green GSP cloth, shirt collar, with a full length front opening secured by four green plastic GSP buttons.
Cap plain, green cloth, with gold trefoil design on the front part, and firmly set on the head.
Troop Number embroidered numeral sewn inside the trefoil design of the cap.
Council Strip narrow rectangular strip of plain green cloth embroidered with council name sewn one centimeter above the brim of the cap.
Troop Number embroidered numeral to be sewn inside the trefoil design of the cap.
Scarf plain colored triangular cloth, placed under the collar and tied in a square knot.
Belt of the same material as the dress and sewn to the middle back part of the dress.
Pin Holder Star Scoutgreen ribbon with metal bar placed below the left collar to hold the following pins:

  • World Pin
  • Asia Pacific Pin (optional)
  • Star Pin
  • Investiture Pin

        The pin holder may be worn with other dresses for identification purposes. Pins may be worn on the top front part of the badge sash in lieu of the pin holder.

Badge Sash bias-cut band of green GSP cloth worn over the right shoulder crossing to the left hip. It may be removed during strenuous activities or messy work. It may also be used with the active wear uniform for ceremonies.
Socks white with green GSP trefoil print.
Shoes black, closed.

ACTIVE WEAR UNIFORM
Used at informal or outdoor cavities.

T-shirt white, collarless, round-neck, with GSP logo in front.
Shorts green GSP cloth, garterized waistband, with secret pockets, length two inches above the knee.
Cap, troop number,
council strip
and socks
same as those for the formal dress uniform.
Shoes black leather / rubber / sneakers

Badgework

pangasinan councilThe Girl Scout Program is carried out in the process called Badgework. Badgework is the process of living the Girl Scout Promise and Law through personally chosen and planned self-developmental activities as prescribed in the Girl Scout Handbooks. A cloth badge is earned and worn by the girl to show her preparedness for service after completing the prescribed activities and living by the Girl Scout Promise and Law.
